Telugu Desam Party has nothing to do with the MLC elections in Telangana as it did not put up its candidates. Even though TDP is pledging support to BJP’s candidate, the stained relationship between the two parties bear almost no effect in the elections. So the elections are totally irrelevant to TDP or Chandrababu Naidu.
However CM KCR and the ruling party TRS just refuses to forget Naidu for a minute. The Pink party unleashed all its tricks to win the elections and the major election slogan is based on Chandrababu. The party cautioned voters against casting their vote in favour of the BJP nominees backed by the Telugu Desam. “A vote for the BJP is a vote for Chandrababu Naidu,”
It is said that TRS had taken this agenda strongly in to the people than the work they have done in the past 9 months or so in the newest state of the country. Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad, Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam are the two graduate MLC seats that are going for election in Telangana
