
The Anti-Corruption Bureau filed a case against BRS working president KT Rama Rao in the Formula E race scam. KTR was named A1 in the case, while IAS officer Aravind Kumar was named A2, and former Chief Engineer of HMDA, BLN Reddy, was named A3 in the case.
The alleged Formula E scam was unravelled after the Congress party came into power in Telangana. It was stated that there were illegal transactions worth Rs. 55 crore from the HMDA officials to the Formula E organizers without obtaining the necessary permissions.

It was alleged that then MAUD Secretary Aravind Kumar authorized the transactions upon the instructions of KT Rama Rao. The government calls it a clear violation of financial regulations.
Recently, the Governor gave his approval to the ACB to probe KTR and other accused individuals in the case. After his approval, several reports stated that KTR will be arrested soon in the case.

Today, after ACB named KTR as A1 in the case, wide speculations are doing rounds saying that KTR will be arrested anytime soon by the ACB officials.
On the other side, KTR has been constantly saying that he didn’t commit any wrongdoing and dared CM Revanth Reddy to debate this scam in the assembly. He challenged that he would prove he was not guilty by providing enough evidence.
