Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who will be aiming for a hattrick with the coming election announced the BRS party’s election manifesto. The Bumper manifesto is full of freebies and enhanced freebies targeting all the sections.
Here are the prominent promises in the BRS Manifesto:
1. Telangana Annapurna scheme: Polished Rice for Ration card holders
2. KCR Bhima…Intintiki Dheema’ scheme: Insurance cover for the white card holders
3. Asara pensions will be increased to 5,000 Rupees in phases
4. Pension for the disabled will be increased to 6,000
5. Rythy Bandhu will be increased from 10,000 per acre to 16,000 per acre phase by phase.
6. Eligible poor women will get 3,000 Rupees per month.
7. State subsidy on gas cylinders – Rs.400 per cylinder. Accredited journalists will also get.
8. Aarogya Sri to be increased up to Rs 15,00,000 to all eligible including journalists
9. Another One Lakh double-bedroom houses in the GHMC area
10. One Gurukul school for each constituency for upper caste poor.
11. Upgrade all residential Junior colleges into degree colleges
12. Own buildings for Self-help groups of women – Mahila Swashakthi groups
13. Orphan policy of Telangana government
14. Assigned lands policy with no restrictions on sale
15. Committee to study the OPS demand of Government employees
