In a tragic incident that occurred in Hyderabad, a female techie committed suicide 10 days ahead of her marriage. She was just 23.
According to the Gachibowli police, M. Vidyasri, a native of Rajanna Sircilla district’s Goskulapalli, was working as a software engineer at an IT firm in Gachibowli.
She used to stay at a girls’ hostel in Kothaguda. On Monday, she did not report to the office and tragically took her own life by hanging herself with a rope tied to the shower rod in the bathroom, at around 4 pm.
The hostel management immediately admitted her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she passed away at midnight while receiving medical aid.
The victim’s marriage was scheduled to be held on March 17. She had also invited her friends and colleagues to the wedding. She was supposed to have a pre-wedding shoot with her fiancé this Thursday. However, she took this drastic step in the meantime.
The family members are still in a state of shock and are yet to digest that she is no more. Meanwhile, the police have registered the case and are investigating the issue.
