Golden Bay Resorts Shut down Citing Maintenance Issues

The Golden Bay Resorts which housed AIADMK MLAs for the last couple of weeks closed down immediately after the MLAs left for the Assembly for the Floor Test. The Resort management put up a notice ‘Resort Under Maintenance’ and has stopped taking books.

All the 59 Rooms are being cleaned, we are told. This may be a ploy by the Resort Management not to allow AIADMK MLAs further to the resort. If at all, the Floor Test gets postponed, the Edapaddi Palaniswami supporting MLAs will have to look for another resort.

On the other side, the Assembly got adjourned till 3 PM and DMK MLAs who created a ruckus in the house were all suspended from the house and are being forcibly evicted from the house. The Speaker himself alleged that his shirt was torn and was insulted in the house by DMK MLAs.
