With Assembly clearing the crucial Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) bill, the state government is gearing up to establish the agency. The announcement for the Authority establishment will be done in a week and the employees for this Authority will appointed by January first week. The authority office will be coming up in Vijayawada or Guntur.
The authority will start with at least 10 employees who will be working under CRDA Special Commissioner N.Srikanth. The government already started the recruitment process. The guidelines for the land pooling in the 29 earmarked villages will also be out in a week.
51786 acres of land is available in the first phase land pooling villages and the government is targeting to pool in 38000 acres. Three different packages were announced for the land losing farmers in the capital area depending on the number of crops grown in those lands.
