The court opined that lack of proper playing spaces is making children glued to TV and Video games depriving them of the much needed physical activity. The court even questioned the government how the state will produce some one like Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar if there are no grounds. The court reminded how Shivaji Park in Mumbai produced the legends.
The court asked the government to tell them how much area will remain for playing after the convention center is built. It also asked the government is there are any alternative arrangements made. The further hearing of the case is posted to 20th of this month.
