Home Coming for Konda Couple?

Konda Surekha and Konda Murali are contemplating to quit Telangana Rashtra Samiti. They have expected a Cabinet Berth but that never happened. Further admitting their rival Errabelli Dayakara Rao has suffocated the couple. They are likely to go back to Congress and Errabelli is likely to Contest Warangal East on TRS Ticket.

Life has become eventful for Konda Couple after YSR’s Death. Surekha resigned for her ministry and Konda Murali left his MLC post to join YS Jagan. In a closely contested bi-election, Surekha lost to TRS candidate by a slender margin. Jagan started ignoring them from then and differences slowly arose. The couple later joined Congress but came out of the party as Congress did not commit up on the seats demanded by them.

Konda Couple will be first to go back to their parent party from TRS. Congress seems to be gaining ground in Telangana and the party is looking to admit some disguntled leaders from the ruling party to demoralize it. This election is like make or break for the party which has granted the statehood demand. The party is drawing some serious plans now that Rahul Gandhi has taken the reins of the party.
