It has been Modi’s wave everywhere. And on the social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook, he seeped through leaving all the existing top brands behind and as of now only one brand is prevailing and i.e., Brand Modi. Amongst many faces of Brand Modi, the hottest one is ‘Make In India’ page on Facebook. The FB page is reportedly getting a new member every 3 seconds.
According to the government statement, this hottest FB page touched 2.1 billion impressions on social media. Fabulous! Even the Twitter handle of ‘Make In India’ got 2.83 lakh followers showing within 100 days of its launch. Awesome! ‘Make In India’ page was intended to kickstart India’s own manufacturing sector.
But this hottest FB page remains just a chatter, the official clarion blowing the achievements of government rather than plan of action to create oppurtunities for India’s Makers to go big way. This is a big disappointment for social media experts who expected something solid like introducing and creating resources for budding entrepreneurs. Hope, the hottest FB page in the government sector builds up strategies to conceptuallise giving oppurtunities to volunteers to make way to ‘Make In India’ projects.
