How Is Jagan Away from the People’s Sentiment?

Every now and then we hear YSR Congress leaders speaking about shifting the Capital out of Amaravati and giving back the lands to farmers if they come to power. We have seen several cases being fought in the courts and National Green Tribunal and it was clearly exposed the people behind these petitions are affiliated to YSR Congress somehow or other.

But then the ground sentiment in the state is totally different. A Report by Economic Times revealed that Amaravati seems to be the singular choice for the Business names these days in the state. Ever since the Chandrababu Naidu government officially named the capital city 19 months ago, it almost became a common name for new businesses.

Right from government schemes to hotels, restaurants, curry points, medical shops, real estate ventures, cab services, security agencies to commercial establishments, everything is Amaravati. At least 200 businesses in Vijayawada and Guntur are named after the Capital indicating that it is the people’s way of extending the support to the capital. This is also the case of people in other districts and the opposition parties may have to realize Amaravati is a part of people’s lives now and trying to decimate it may be dangerous.
