These individuals are uncertain about their voting rights, evident from a series of petitions submitted to Hyderabad District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose.

Around 300 Andhra employees from various sectors such as banks and central government organizations have been chosen for election duties in the Hyderabad district. They were provided with EC Postal Vote Form-12 and submitted their applications accordingly.

However, no decision has been made regarding postal voting for AP employees. They’ve queried GHMC about the possibility of postal voting in Andhra Pradesh until the 8th of this month.

They express willingness to vote if the AP Election Commission forwards their details to the RVOs of their respective constituencies.
