BRS working president KT Rama Rao stated that he wouldn’t keep calm if anyone from the BJP or Congress tried to make Hyderabad a common capital or a union territory after June 2.

According to the AP Reorganisation Act 2014, Hyderabad will stay as the common capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for 10 years. The term ends on June 2nd this year.

Speaking with his party members today, KTR hinted at the chances of making Hyderabad a common capital once again after June 2nd.

“The common capital period of Hyderabad will end on June 2. After that, if any BJP or Congress leader says that they will make it a union territory or common capital once again, we wouldn’t keep calm and have the strength to stop them,” said KTR, addressing his cadre.
