The main complaint from the workers is that they are not receiving their salaries on time and the working hours are also not implemented in a controlled environment and they’re having to work long hours without even lunch breaks.

They’ve asked for an immediate salary hike and a related written agreement from Keolis agency that looks after the logistics of the contract workers.

Keolis Agency then spoke with the media and stated there’s no truth in the allegations made by the contract workers. They’ve announced that they’ll be taking stern action against the workers who’re on the strike. They alleged that the workers called for a strike only to halt metro services.

The ticketing workers temporarily called off the strike and they say they’ll hold more protests in the future if their issues aren’t resolved.
