Hyderabad ORR Rule Change: First Reactions

It is a known fact that Hyderabad has one of the best outer ring roads for any city in India. Incidentally, a major change has been made to the same now.

As per the latest order passed in connection with the ORR in Hyderabad, the maximum speed limit has been increased marginally.

The top speed has been increased from the existing 100 KM/H to 120 KM/H. This decision was taken by the IT minister KTR today and related orders were passed just a short while ago.

Not just the hike in the top speed at the ORR, the authorities were also ordered to ensure stern safety protocols in the ring road.

The HMDA will be looking after the newly enforced regulations and take KTR’s orders on the speed limit into implementation.

This comes at a time when Hyderabad real estate is at an all time high and the city is being lauded for its grade A public infrastructure and development activities.

The new regulation has drawn a very positive response from the public on social media and they’re applauding the decision to increase the speed limit which had been in discussion for a long time now.
