Hyderabad Turns Fortress for Ivanka and Modi

Hyderabad is the Buzz Word in the country today with two high profile visits of USA President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both of them will be at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) being held in Hyderabad.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project this afternoon. Around 10,500 Policemen, SPG, and America’s Secret Agents were deployed aroung the city making it a fortress. Several Companies operating around HICC, the venue of GES were shut down and asked their employees to work from home due to security and traffic restrictions.

Schools were totally shut down. While Ivanka’s visit puts Hyderabad on Global Map, the inauguration of Metro Rail will ease the traffic and improve the Urban Infrastructure of the city and undoubtedly, both have the potential of changing the face of the city.
