Telangana Minister of Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkatareddy has made some interesting comments regarding BRS leader, MLA and ex minister Harish Rao.
The Banakacharla issue is raging within Telangana and all leaders have an opinion on it. Addressing media, Minister Komatireddy said he doesn’t know who Harish Rao is. Reddy went on to say that he does not talk about Harish Rao and KTR.
I will talk to KCR as both of us were born in farmer families and grew in politics. I am an elected representative of people for 6 times like KCR.
We both fought for Telangana. It was Congress who gave Telangana. Congress MLAs and MPs resigned for Telangana. KCR had 1 paisa role in getting Telangana.
I request KCR to come to the Assembly and discuss Banakacharla issue and issue regarding Godavari, Krishna waters. We didn’t get Telangana to give away our water rights, said Komatireddy Venkatareddy.
For the unversed, Harish Rao has been challenging the government to hold a debate on Banakacharla. Given that background, fresh comments by Komatireddy have become a talking point in BRS and Telangana Congress.
