Paritala Sunita addressed media after holding a meeting with her party workers and leaders as YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy will be going to meet the family of Lingamaiah in Ramagiri mandal, Anantapur, tomorrow.
Paritala Sunita said the TDP cadre were against allowing Jagan from coming to Ramagiri. She said they wanted to stop his helicopter and make him fly back. But I refrained them from thinking in such a way, shared Sunita.
She said she had the guts to stop Jagan as she had Paritala blood and the support of their leader Chandrababu Naidu. But we don’t play death politics and our leader Chandrababu has stopped us from behaving in such a manner, she revealed.
Sunita also said that Lingamaiah was once in TDP and they were the ones who gave jobs to his children. But over time, he joined YSRCP, said Sunita.
Paritala Sunita made it a point to clarify that Lingamaiah’s death was not due to faction war, but due to regular fight.
She said that Prakash Reddy was constantly trying to instigate the cadre by saying and posting ‘dammunda apatanitiki’. If we fall into the trap, for the next five years, they will prod us saying we stopped Jagan from coming.
So, I told the cadre to stay calm and restrict themselves to houses and let Jagan come and go, said Sunita.
