On the other hand, the IPAC team, which staunchly supported CM Jagan, has concluded that the MLA is more popular than anyone else. This conclusion is based on MLA Anna Rambabu’s impressive victory margin of 89,000 votes in the last election.

However, for various reasons, tensions within the YSRCP in that constituency have escalated significantly in the past two years. This has led to clashes between pro- and anti-MLA groups.

Ultimately, the MLA and some party leaders who oppose him are engaged in a war of words. It’s noteworthy that many key leaders from the influential CM community, who were once associated with Congress and later with the YSRCP, are expressing dissent.

A few days before the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu, he visited Gundlakamma in the district and delivered a speech. During this event, he criticized Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu and confidently predicted his defeat in Sattenapally.

Furthermore, he raised the possibility of Ambati contesting in Giddalur, where the Kapu community holds significant voting influence. While the YSRCP leadership’s reaction to his words remains unclear, the district leaders, particularly those within the YSRCP from the Giddalur constituency, were stirred by these comments.
