Minister HRD of AP, Nara Lokesh, responded to veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai who gave a shout out to the India Today correspondent and tagged AP CM Chandrababu and Lokesh.

The social media is full of stories of Solubongu tribal village that is celebrating getting a school for its children and a road to the remote hamlet in Alluri Seetaramaraju district of Andhra Pradesh.

After reports of little children going to school in boats despite fear of water, in national and international media, the AP government acted immediately. The district officials reached the village, sanctioned a school and began works on providing connectivity to the tribal village. A road will be laid from Veerabhadrapet to Solubongu.

Media and social media are filled with clippings of the tribals breaking into their traditional Dinsa dance smiling to cameras, after swift action was initiated by the state government.

Minister Lokesh posted on X – Thank you @sardesairajdeepji. While governance is about doing our best, it’s also about taking constructive feedback and acting on it. A primary school has been started for primary children and students of higher grades are being tagged to a nearby convenient school.

We have sanctioned a new culvert and road, the work for which has already started. In the interim, we will be providing transportation for the children to the nearest school.

The quick and speedy action is getting accolades for the AP government and Minister Lokesh, who has realised a dream for Solubongu tribals.
