Election Results: What’s Indian Voters Verdict?

The Indian political arena has been occupied with the news about the election results coming out in 5 states, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Puducherry and Assam today. And now that the D day is here, let’s have a look at the initial trends that have emerged at 9 AM.

In West Bengal, it is the Trinamool Congress, which is ahead in the race as of 9 AM. This Mamata Banerjee party is leading in 133 seats while the BJP is leading in 107. Congress is out of the picture with 5 seats.

In Tamil Nadu, DMK is leading in 72 seats while AIDMK is ahead in 49 and Thalapathy Vijay in 42. Election is expected to be the case here with no party likely to gain needed magic figure.

In Kerala, Congress led UDF is leading 79 as opposed to the Left alliance which is losing power after many decades. In Assam, BJP is racing ahead with 76 seats while Congress is doing it in 29. Puducherry is with NR Congress which is ahead in 18 as opposed to the Congress(9).
