An Indian-origin CEO has been arrested in the US for having links with hi-end prostitution houses. Anurag Bajpayee who is the CEO of clean water Startup Gradient was arrested by the police.
A story was published in New York Times that Anurag was amongst the highest payees in prostitution houses. The information was submitted to Boston Area Court.
Anurag’s name was in special list of doctors, lawyers, government officials, government contractors according to investigating officers. The hi-end clientele were paying $600 per hour according to them.
Anurag mostly chose Asian women, the officers said. The officers expressed doubts that these women were illegally trafficked from Asian countries.
Finding their boss’ name in the list, the staff of Gradient are concerned and demanded for his resignation. However, the company has sided with Anurag and expressed their belief in the course of law.
Anurag Bajpayee is the co-founder and CEO of Gradient, a Boston-based company that specializes in advanced water and waste water treatment solutions. Born in India, Anurag is a well-known figure in clean technology segment.
