The most celebrated cricket league in the world, IPL is set to commence this week with the opening match to be played between RCB and Chennai on the 22nd of this month.
However, in a major shocker to the Chennai Super Kings camp, another star player in the team has been injured while on international duties. This comes after Devon Conway and Matheesha Pathirana are already injured.
The third CSK player to be injured is Mustafizur Rahman. This Bangladeshi left-arm bowler who was roped in as a replacement for Pathirana, got himself injured in the international match against Sri Lanka today. He was carried off the field on a stretcher and is undergoing tests.
Concerning CSK fans, three of their players have been sidelined due to injuries right ahead of the IPL and it has to be seen when and if they will return to play in the IPL.
With just four more days to go for the start of the season, it has to be seen how CSK will fill the void left by the mentioned three players.
