Is Jagan Clearing Line for Congress Friendship?

A few days ago, we have seen an indication from Congress about a possible friendship with YSR Congress and now there is an indication from the other side as well. Speaking at Yuvabheri in Nellore, Jagan Mohan Reddy went on to say that he is ready to support any party at the center which is ready to lend support for Special Status.

It is clear that BJP is no mood of granting special status for Andhra Pradesh. Even if it does at this point, the credit will go to opposition parties. So, there are easily many reasons why BJP will not give Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. Congress Party which lost everything due to the bifurcation pinned high hopes on this issue.

By promising Special Status now, Congress has nothing to lose and so, Congress will be the party Jagan is waiting for support. Congress and YSR Congress are ideologically same parties and have common agenda of keeping check to Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan only differed with Congress since Sonia Gandhi did not allow him to become the Chief Minister after his father’s death. But then Chandrababu threat seem to be bringing them closer once again.
