It appears that the Jana Sena leader, Pawan Kalyan, has undergone noticeable changes in his demeanor, speech, and attire since embarking on the Vaaraahi Yatra in East Godavari district. These changes suggest that he may be preparing Jana Sena for a solo fight in the upcoming elections, with the aim of becoming a kingmaker if his party manages to win at least 30 Assembly segments.

In his recent speech in Pithapuram, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the promise of providing good governance if he emerges victorious. Additionally, he seems to be focusing on local issues to establish a closer connection with the people. The intention behind fielding candidates from his party in at least 100 seats and aiming to win 30 seats could potentially position him as a kingmaker.

Godavari district, which has a total of 34 seats, appears to be a crucial battleground for Pawan Kalyan. His strategy of targeting 25 seats in this district while also seeking success in 10 seats elsewhere seems to have yielded positive results. The statement that the party will become stronger by 2029, echoed by senior party leader Harirama Jogaiah, indicates a long-term perspective.

However, it is important for Pawan Kalyan to consider the dynamics of politics and alliances. In Andhra Pradesh, hung governments have not been occurred, with the majority of voters traditionally choosing between the TDP and YSRCP. This could pose a challenge for Jana Sena, particularly in the Rayalaseema districts, where the party is considered relatively weak.
