Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted interim bail for Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Medical Grounds. If the formalities are completed, Chandrababu will come out of the jail this evening itself.
The Lawyers representing the Government tried their level best to stop the bail saying that those are routine age-related problems and do not warrant bail but the Judge thought otherwise.
The arrest itself is timed in a way to keep Chandrababu away from the people as elections are nearing.
After the bail, the lawyers asked the court to allow Two DSPs to escort Chandrababu everywhere during this four-week period but the court did not allow it.
This looks like a plan to keep a tab on where Chandrababu is going and the people whom he is meeting.
Immediately after the news came out, Blue Media started spreading rumors that the High Court imposed a condition that two DSPs would follow Chandrababu in the hospital and even added masala saying that he is not allowed anywhere except the hospital and is not even allowed to meet his family members.
The disappointed YSR Congress supporters spread this news like wildfire.
But then, the complete order was out and it was revealed that the court did not impose any special conditions.
There are no restrictions on meeting anyone or going anywhere. He was instructed not to influence the witnesses and was asked to furnish surety bonds worth One Lakh Rupees.
