Jagan’s Caste Checkmate To Two AP Ministers

There are rumors that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will shuffle his cabinet after the MLC elections. There is a leak to the media that he will accommodate some of the new MLCs into the cabinet.

Two ministers of Jagan’s cabinet are facing the heat. Seediri Appalaraju and Gummanur Jayaram are facing the heat and are doubting if they will lose their position in the upcoming shuffle.

Kola Guruvulu, AP Fisheries Board Chairman was made the MLC. There are rumors that he will replace Seediri Appalaraju in the cabinet. Guruvulu’s induction means someone from the Fishermen community is replacing Appalaraju of the same community and also the present Vishakapatnam district will have a representation in the cabinet.

Appalaraju is controversial during his tenure and also a change means giving an opportunity to a leader like Guruvulu who was with the party since the start.

Another minister facing the axe is Gummanur Jayaram. Jayaram is in news for all sorts of bad reasons including receiving an IT notice for purchasing 180 acres in a single day in the name of his wife and kin.

A company filed a case on Jayaram on the 180 acres in Karnataka.

Considering all this, Jagan may replace Jayaram with Dr. Madhusudhan. The doctor is also from the same Valmiki community as Jayaram. So, Jagan can freely change the minister.
