Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called up on Governor ESL Narasimhan a short while ago to complain him about the proceedings of the house. Jagan explained him about how Speaker is not giving him enough time to speak in the house. He also termed the suspension of the eight YSR Congress MLAs as gross injustice and requested Governor to intervene.
Earlier YSR Congress MLAs, Srikanth Reddy, Rama Krishna Reddy, Sridhar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Chand Bhasha, Muthyala Reddy, Jaggi Reddy and Kodali Nani were suspended for interrupting the proceedings of the house repeatedly despite many warnings.
Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao withheld the suspension whip from the last two days despite the ugly scenes. Finally Jagan staged a walkout protesting the Speaker’s attitude. The Speaker had to deploy Marshals to drag the suspended MLAs out of the house.
