Seems bad luck is visciously smiling on YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy these days and he paying back in his own coin for various ‘quid pro quo’ illegal deals. Nothing is turning in his favour recently. His long list of various cases of disproportionate assets and the feared imprisonment are chasing him. The latest to join in his list of debacles is the ‘Money Laundering Case’.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is going to attach the disproportionate assets of Jagan Mohan Reddy related to Penna Cements case. In this regard, various assets worth crores of rupees would be seized pertaining to Janani, Jagathi and Indira television, the assets related to these publications would come under the seizure.
Into the details…assets worth Rs. 5.59 crores would be seized from Jagathi publications Ltd., Rs. 24.85 crores from Indira publications and Rs. 16.56 crores from Janani publications. This amounts to about Rs. 47 crores. This is one more heavy blow for the YSRCP leader after the set back he has faced before when ED attached assets worth huge Rs. 863 crores earlier.
