Jagan Helpless On Polavaram

TDP President Chandrababu Naidu has exposed the flip-flops of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his ministers on the Polavaram irrigation project by sharing their earlier videos with the media. As part of his 10-day tour to visit various irrigation projects, Chandrababu Naidu visited the Polavaram Multipurpose project. He was accompanied by other TDP leaders and farmers.

In his Power Point Presentation, Chandrababu explained the developments related to the Polavaram project since 2019. Chandrababu Naidu claimed that YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s government had settled for just four percent progress in the four years since taking office. He highlighted how reverse tenders were blamed for reducing the contour level to 41.15 meters.

On the same topic, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy visited the Koonavaram district of Alluri Sitaramaraj to meet flood victims. Many residents and expatriates attended the meeting with anticipation. People were eager to hear clarification from the Chief Minister about the compensation and rehabilitation promises made in the past for the Polavaram project.

However, the Chief Minister’s response reportedly disappointed the attendees. He discussed compensation, resettlement, and referred to divine intervention, leaving some expatriates dissatisfied. Some attendees expressed their concerns about their villages not being included in the 41.5 contour even though they were affected by flooding. In response, the Chief Minister mentioned a lidar survey that had already been conducted, attributing the situation to technical matters.
