Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari called YSRCP chief as rappa rappa school principal. She alleged that disrespecting women could be part of YSRCP’s manifesto.
Shabari said women are leading in all fields in today’s time. Women haven’t come into politics to be talked about cheaply, said Shabari.
The Nandyal MP said YSRCP was behaving as if deriding women was vital for its progress. An incident happened recently in Kovvur.
A YSRCP politician whose family has been in politics for years spoke really badly about a Kovvur woman politician who is his sister in relation. She is no young lady. But that did not stop him from commenting.
Today, the Central government and state government are giving respect to women. Women like us haven’t come into politics for being belittled and talked about cheaply about our character.
We want to bring values into the political system. Our aim is to help people. To strive for people, said Shabari. But YSRCP has been behaving without respect to women while in power and out of power.
Anaganaga there was a school. It was called rappa rappa school. The guru of that school is Jagan Mohan. I won’t call him a Reddy, said Byreddy Shabari.
