The Government says this is to make true the own house dream of the middle class. In the first phase, the layouts are put up for sale in Rayachoti, Navuluru (Amaravati), Dharmavaram, Kandukuru, and Kaavali. In the next phase, Government plans to sell in all the constituencies.
While middle class is the facade of the scheme, the actual intention seems to be making big bucks to the freebies. It is also noticeable that the Government has put the lands in Amaravati (Navuluru) to sale. Amaravati Farmers suspect that Government is trying to sell off the lands taken in the pooling.
They are also planning to approach the High Court on the issue saying that the Government can not make sell the lands without giving clarity on the future of Amaravati and three capitals.
