YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is desperate to get the Opposition Status so that he can enjoy the cabinet rank privileges that come with it.
Jagan is so desperate that after writing letters he even approached the High Court asking the court to get him the Opposition Status.
Meanwhile, Jagan himself proved that he does not deserve the Opposition Leader status and People made the right choice.
Today, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly took up the Bill to Repeal the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act.
The previous Jagan Government brought the Land Titling Act. It has become a big political issue during the election campaign.
Even though people were very concerned, Jagan adamantly defended the Act during the campaign.
After the defeat, the YSR Congress believed TDP and Janasena did bad propaganda on the act, and that led to their defeat.
Today, when the Government repealed the act, there is no Opposition in the house as the YSR Congress was protesting in Delhi.
It is stupidity to skip the Assembly and protest in Delhi without participating in the Assembly.
Due to the brute majority, TDP and its allies have in the house, Jagan can not stop repealing the bill but at least he should have said his version in support of the Act in the House.
That is what people expect from the Opposition.
Jagan with this childish act proved he was not meeting the basic requirements of the Opposition and so, it is proved without a doubt that people made the right decision in denying him the Opposition Status.
Meanwhile, the AP Assembly unanimously voted to Repeal the Draconian Land Titling Act.
