Why Did Jagan Surrender to BJP So Meekly?

Venkaiah Naidu carried an allegation all his life of supporting TDP at the expense of BJP in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Venkaiah belonging to the same caste as NTR and Chandrababu and his closeness with Chandrababu aided this allegation.

YSR Congress always propagated this allegation and they even called Venkaiah and Chandrababu as Conjoined Twins. They have called Venkaiah names on several occasions and made many allegations. But then, when BJP proposed Venkaiah for the same as Vice-President.

With all those allegations YSR Congress made on Venkaiah Naidu, they should have never ever accepted him for the country’s Second Highest Constitutional Post. But then, Jagan had instantly agreed to support Venkaiah’s candidature when Amit Shah called him last night.

The discussion is on in the party about why Jagan is surrendering to BJP high command so meekly. Is it because of the allegations that Jagan is seeking BJP’s help in his cases? or Is it because YSR Congress is keen on a possible alliance with BJP in the next elections?
