Jagan taking the biggest risk of his political career?

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was always success in by-elections. His party ensured big wins in all the by-elections that happened before the 2014 elections. Now he is gearing for one more by-elections battle. Since the disqualification petitions of the defected MLAs will not be cleared by AP Speaker, Jagan came up with a new idea.

Jagan is planning to give a no-confidence motion on Andhra Pradesh Speaker in the AP Assembly. He will be issuing whip to all his MLAs to vote against the Speaker. If the defected MLAs vote against the party decision, they will automatically face the axe and it will ensure by-elections as quickly as possible.

This is a very brave decision. If the opposition party gets adverse result in the by-elections, more MLAs will defect from the party and also the cadre will demoralized. Then there will be questions of existence all over. Importantly, Jagan’s party will not even have eligible candidates for the by-elections since all the strong factions in those constituencies are in TDP.
