Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said that no officer was facing bad treatment in TDP rule. She said that those who committed wrong deeds during YSRCP rule were facing inquiries.
Anitha addressed a press meet following the arrest of IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu. We were in opposition in the past. At that time cases were filed on us. No officer has suffered during our term.

The public order was completely erased during past YSRCP rule. Cases were filed on our leaders. They attacked our party office. Women were also threatened during those times. Jagan was the man who used CID to harass TDP members. We are not going ahead without any proofs in any case, said the Home Minister.
We are punishing in such a way that it should set an example. No matter how angry TDP leaders and cadre are, we are following a process. YSRCP must introspect as to why officers and leaders from their term are getting arrested.

During Jagan’s rule, officers like Srilakshmi also went to jail. Jagan must come out of 4 walls and talk about illegal cases. Only then will people show him reality, the Home Minister said.
