Jagan Affidavit

The total assets of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, often criticized by the opposition as the wealthiest Chief Minister in the country, amount to Rs. 529.87 crores. Additionally, his wife YS Bharti possesses property worth Rs. 176.63 crores.

Jagan’s wealth has experienced significant growth over the past five years, with his assets increasing by almost 41 percent since the 2019 elections when they were valued at Rs. 375.20 crores. During the upcoming elections, Jagan’s younger brother YS Manohar Reddy has filed nomination on behalf of YSRCP President Jagan, contesting from the Pulivendula Assembly constituency.

However, there is discussion surrounding the decision to contest from places other than Pulivendula. Jagan has disclosed 26 cases against him, including 11 CBI cases and 9 ED cases. Notably, there are six cases filed across various police stations including Nandyala, Vijayawada, Mangalagiri, Ponnur, and Sarurnagar.

Furthermore, Jagan’s eldest daughter possesses non-commercial plots in Karnataka and Idupulapaya, K. Ellamavaripalle, and Palempalle, totaling 4.5 acres and 5.50 acres respectively, valued at Rs. 1.63 crore. Similarly, his younger daughter holds properties in the same area, with assets worth Rs. 25.89 crores and Rs. 25.57 crores respectively.

Interestingly, Jagan’s election affidavit was prepared in Rajahmundry, with stamps purchased in Vijayawada. During the 2019 elections, the affidavit was prepared in Pulivendula.
