Jagan’s Team Begins PR Exercise!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has got zero investments to the state. With elections just two years to go, he seems to have realized that he should do something on that front.

And immediately there is a PR exercise. The other day, he inaugurated a caustic soda manufacturing plant in East Godavari.

While it is an investment that has come during Chandrababu‘s regime, YSRCP tried to project it as his own. Now there are reports that Jagan is planning to go to World Economic Forum Summit in Davos in May.

When in Opposition, Jagan Mohan Reddy used to criticise Chandrababu for going to Davos. He always tried to project those trips as useless and Naidu paid for the entry to that Summits.

Jagan needed the same summit now to his branding. But then, it is likely to be futile exercise. Even hardcore fans do not believe that Jagan has it in him to bring investments to the state.

He is good at pooling in resources and distribute freebies. That is the USP of YSR Congress and Jagan. It is better to stick to that.

In life, people say it is better to try and fail. But in Politics, it is always better not to try and fail.
