Janasena Serious But Not Serious Enough

Janasena Party has responded to BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind’s controversial remarks on Janasena BJP alliance. Aravind said BJP did not ask for Janasena’s Support but Pawan Kalyan himself offered it. He further added that there is no alliance whatsoever in Telangana even going forward. These comments have disappointed Janasaniks big time.

Janasena reacted to that via a Press Note. Playing it safe, the Press Note was released on the name of Janasena Telangana incharge, Shankar Goud. The Press Note asked the MP to retract from the comments and said it was Telangana BJP Senior leaders who asked for Janasena support and Pawan Kalyan agreed keeping in mind the larger public interests.

Interestingly, Union Minister Kishan Reddy also made a similar comment in an interview to a leading News Channel. It would have been effective if someone like Pawan Kalyan or Nadendla Manohar made a single line comment and would also send a strong message to the BJP leadership not to take Janasena’s Support lightly.

All this has happened because Pawan Kalyan did not insist on contesting even in a handful of seats which would have been respectful. It has to be seen if he would at least stand rigid in the case of Tirupati by-election. If Janasena leaves out the seat to BJP, even people would stop taking Janasena seriously and BJP would further belittle Janasena.
