Jaya Still Alive – Media Declares Dead?

Tamil Nadu CM J.Jayalalitha was admitted at Apollo Hospitals and has been undergoing treatment for a while now. A statement released by the hospital said that she went into cardiac arrest last evening. While the best cardiologists and pulmonologists were treating her, sadly, the latest we hear from Tamil media channels is that she is no more.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister was put on a heart pump (ECMO) as tweeted by the hospital. It means the situation was very grave which is why the hospital later asked for prayers and good wishes from followers for her.

The party members were very hopeful for the Honourable CM’s recovery and kept all the negativity at bay till the last moment. But the increasing security and the politician’s visits made the picture clear to the layman. As the drama and fight over her successor begins, we wish the “Selvi” rests in peace.

Although media has officially declared Jayalalitha as dead, the hospital staff still say that the CM is on life support. Let us all wait for official confirmation before jumping the gun.
