Jayalalithaa acquitted in Corruption Cases!In one more unexpected turn of events, Karntaka high court had withheld all the cases on Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa. The high court acquitted Jayalalithaa from the disproportionate assets case. This will come as a huge relief to Jayalalithaa and she is also expected to return as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. She had put her loyalist O Paneerselvam in the place after he conviction.

It is known that in September 2014, a special court in Bangalore has decided that Jayalalithaa is the convict in the disproportionate assets case and sentenced her to 4 years jail and 100 Crore penalty for being corrupt to the extent of 66 Crores. Now this sentence is struck off by the Karnataka high court

Political experts say this verdict will come as a huge relief to Jayalalithaa and she is also likely to go for snap polls for Tamil Nadu Assembly as the AIADMK party is keen to take advantage of cadre morale and voter sentiment which they feel would be favorable to AIADMK and its leader.
