There were concerns of Tamil Nadu’s Jayalalithaa hefty 100 Crore fine imposed by the Special court. The iron lady of Tamil Nadu will get it really tough to pay the fine as the entire 100 Crore fire is to be paid out of the white money.
However as always Jayalalithaa is not so much worried of it. The former Chief Minister who is currently out on bail has offered 6.57 Crore rupees helping hand to the families of 219 people have lost their lives after the Bangalore special court convicted former chief minister J Jayalalithaa in a disproportionate asset case.
It is known that 27 September, Special Judge John Michael D’Cunha had convicted Jayalalithaa, sentencing her to four years imprisonment in the disproportionate assets case, and slapped a staggering fine of Rs 100 crore in the corruption case. The other co-convicts were sentenced with four years jail and 10 Crores fine.
Jayalalithaa was confined to her residence in Poes Garden, Chennai since she is released from jail. The party people say she will remain in her residence for the next 3-4 months.
