Jaya Prada Now Looking at BJP?

Actress turned Politician Jayaprada all of a sudden heaped praises on Narendra Modi and the Demonetization. She also gave a hint about her future political plans saying that she would join any party provided she gets a “respectful invitation”.

With the reports of BJP possibly coming to power in UP, Jayaprada may be eyeing BJP now, political experts say. Jayaprada started her political career with Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh during NTR’s regime. She went along with Chandrababu’s faction after NTR’s dethroning.

She was nominated to the Rajya Sabha representing Andhra Pradesh in 1996. She also held the post of Telugu Mahila President but later came out of TDP due to differences with Chandrababu. She later migrated to UP politics by joining Samajwadi Party. After divorce with Samajwadi, She was with Ajith Singh’s RLD for some time and lost the 2014 elections contesting from Bijnor.
