Tadipatri MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy is always controversial.
This time he openly announced media that whoever wins Wine Shops in Tadipatri should give a 35% share to him.

15% should be for free and the remaining 20% he would invest. The Senior leader says he would spend this 35% on the development of the constituency.
Prabhakar Reddy may use this for the constituency’s development but the fact remains that this will amount to extortion.

If an MLA demands 35% for Constituency Development, it will lead to rampant Belt Shops and selling Liquor at exorbitant prices.
You call it constituency development fund or whatever, it is nothing but forcible extortion.

Unless there is a law and is collected by the Government, it is illegal. Whatever name you give it, it is still illegal and extortion.
Tomorrow some other MLA would extort the same 35% and put it in his pocket.
Chandrababu Naidu should act on JC. This would be a very bad endorsement of the Government. Further, Prabhakar Reddy has come before the media and is openly saying that he should be given 35%.
If the CM does not act, it will send wrong signals to the Public.
