
A total of 48.47 percent votes were polled in Jubilee Hills. Of this, 60 percent votes came from 34 key centers. In 192 centers, the polling crossed 50 percent. According to the Election Commission, the winning candidate will likely be decided by these high-polling centers.
Based on this data, candidates are now calculating their chances. They are focusing more on ground numbers and less on the exit poll predictions.
Jubilee Hills constituency includes Vengalaraonagar, Borabanda, Yousufguda, Erragadda, Shaikpet, Rahmatnagar and part of Somajiguda. With around 4 lakh voters, nearly half of them turned up to vote.
In Rahmatnagar, 15 centers recorded 60 percent voting. Borabanda saw 13 such centers. Erragadda had 3 and Vengalaraonagar had 1 center with 60 percent turnout.
At least 50 percent polling was recorded in 4 divisions of Vengalaraonagar, 73 in Rahmatnagar, 47 in Borabanda, 30 in Erragadda, 19 in Shaikpet, 10 in Yousufguda and 9 in Somajiguda. The lowest turnout was seen in parts of Shaikpet, Vengalaraonagar and Yousufguda. Colonies in these areas reported very low voting.
At Center 217, where Congress candidate Naveen Yadav cast his vote, turnout was only 28.61 percent. This center includes police quarters and a mostly rented population. Frequent shifting and lack of voter IDs led to low polling.
BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha voted in Center 290, which saw 32.82 percent turnout. BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy voted in Center 301, where turnout stood at 41.86 percent.
The highest turnout in the constituency was at Center 334 in Raj Nagar, Borabanda, which recorded 72.78 percent voting.
