Kala Venkat Rao Losing To Group Politics In Etcherla

Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao was the senior TDP leader from Srikakulam. During his prime, Kala Venkat Rao used to command the neighboring constituencies along with his prime.

But he lost grip on the district gradually. He himself is facing heat in his own constituency – Etcherla.

Senior leaders of TDP in Etcherla – Chowdary Babji and Kaliseti Appalanaidu are ganging up against Kala and are unifying leaders against the senior leader.

They say Kala gave all contracts to his relatives and ignored the party’s foot soldiers. Group politics is very high in the Four Mandals of Etcherla constituency.

They are throwing hats for the Etcherla constituency ticket. We will have to see what Chandrababu decides finally on this issue.

Gorle Kiran Kumar won this seat in 2019 with a majority of 18K+ Votes over Kala Venkata Rao. The party cadre says there is a significant anti-incumbency against Kiran Kumar and the opportunity will go waste if the group politics is not resolved.
