Kalvakuntla Kavitha seems to be playing some ‘home politics’. She met up with Kerala CPI Rajya Sabha MP Sandosh Kumar at her residence in Banjara Hills on Saturday.

They discussed various issues and Sandosh Kumar promised that they will hold cultural events with Telangana Jagruthi. He said that CPI’s cultural wing Yuva Kalavahini will collaborate with Telangana Jagruthi during cultural events in various countries.

However, it has to be noted that Kavitha who is working as the face of Telangana Jagruthi for some time now, is seeking political support from various parties. She has been meeting leaders from various parties.

Just recently, she met with Telangana CPM state secretary John Wesley. She requested Wesley to support her during the proposed rail roko programme on July 17, demanding 42% reservation for BCs.

Prior to that, she asked support from BJP Rajya Sabha MP R Krishnaiah regarding the same issue. On Friday, Union State Minister of social justice and empowerment Ramdas Athawale went to Kavitha’s residence to meet her. This has raised many eyebrows in political circles.

BC movement, 42% reservation were among the issues that were discussed by both leaders. It cannot be coincidence that various political leaders are meeting Kavitha at her residence.

Presently, this is the issue being discussed among Telangana political circles. Some say Kavitha’s parlays with CPI, CPM on one hand and BJP on the other might impact her political future as it reflects she lacks a particular agenda.
