Pawan Kalyan Should Keep CBN Away In These Matters

Allowing Ticket Prices Hike for a Dubbing film like Kantara Chapter 1 has become a controversy. Already there is a Boycott call after the film’s hero, Rishab Shetty spoke completely in Kannada at the Pre-release event in Hyderabad initiating this issue.

Telangana Government did not give Hikes for the film given the High Court Order and so, there is no issue there.

But Andhra Pradesh Government has allowed the Ticket Prices Hike despite the uproar.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan‘s PRO sent a Press Note justifying the Hikes.

The Note is titled “కళ… మనుషుల్ని కలపాలనే విశాల దృక్పథంతో ‘కాంతారా ఛాప్టర్ -1’ టికెట్ ధరలు పెంపు”.

“Telugu films are being troubled in Karnataka, and at this time, objections have been raised before the state government against increasing the ticket prices of the Kannada films. Keeping in mind the developments there, it is not possible to cause trouble here. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan have clarified to the Cinematography and Home Department officials that they should move forward with a big heart,” the Note said.

Hombale used Mythri Movie Makers to get the Hikes. Mythri helped Hari Hara Veeramallu release in Nizam and so, Pawan Kalyan immediately obliged.

TDP Supporters are objecting the use of the Chief Minister’s name in this matter.

“The CM had left the industry issues completely to Pawan Kalyan. We have seen the industry people beelining to the DCM’s office for Hike Matters. In fact, they are yet to meet the Chief Minister after the election. So, the Good or Bad about this issue is completely Pawan Kalyan’s. The CM should be kept away,” they say.

“The Home Ministry should give the final G.O. regarding the Hike. If we observe, Home Minister Anitha is also completely out of this. It has become more of an issue between the DCM’s office and the Cinematography Ministry held by Janasena’s Kandula Durgesh. Most probably, the CM is not even aware of the Kantara matter. So, they better keep him out,” they are saying.

The matter of the Hikes is going out of hands especially in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister has given oral instructions to give whatever the industry asks for.

Earlier the Hikes used to be given to cover the Big Budgets involved but now, they are being given to cover the exorbitant rates they are sold at.

Audiences are already growing impatient and it will be matter of time before the issue does political damage. The Chief Minister should step in very soon.
