Kapu Stir to Come Back to Haunt Andhra?

The deadline given by Kapu Strongman, Mudragada Padmanabham over Kapu Reservations issue is coming to an end this month. Kapu JAC is threatening with another agitation on the issue while Manjunadha Commission is yet to finish its report. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu earlier thought of giving reservations to all Economically Backward Classes to get out of this mess.

That will ensure that all economically backward sections of the Upper Castes will get benefitted. Such move will also win accolades from those opposing reservations. But all of sudden, Gujarat High Court struck down the Gujarat Government notification granting 10% quota for EBCs (economically backward classes) in educational institutions.

This pushed Naidu into two minds now as time is ticking on him. Naidu already announced that reservations issue is sensitive and he wants to bring in a solution which can not be stuck down by the courts. Agitations are the last things Andhra Pradesh needs at this time of crisis which followed after the state bifurcation.
