BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha welcomed Rahul Gandhi who is in the city to attend Bharat Summit. She welcomed him to Telangana and Hyderabad.
Speaking to a national media channel, Kavitha asked Rahul Gandhi to come to HCU and see the felled trees and the displaced deer and peacocks.

She asked Rahul Gandhi to see what his party chief minister has done. She also asked him to meet the students of HCU and stop the relocation of HCU.
You have started this new trend of writing letters to your CMs. You wrote to Himachal CM, Karnataka CM and Telangana CM, said Kavitha.

It is wrong to use the name of Rohit Vemula at this point in time merely to divert attention from the HCU issue, said Kavitha. She reminded that the Congress party was in power in 12 states when Rohit Vemula died and no one turned up to see him.
Kavitha warned Rahul Gandhi that people of Telangana were watching his moves. She said he is already known as ‘election Gandhi’ in Telangana as he remembers people of Telangana only during elections.

It is time, Rahul Gandhi stopped his chief minister from creating further destruction and relocation of HCU, said Kavitha.
