Kavitha spoke to the media on Saturday and once again targeted Harish Rao. She blamed him for the high level of corruption that occurred when he served as the irrigation minister.
She revealed that she had warned her father about issues in the irrigation department back in 2016. Kavitha said Harish Rao claimed all decisions about Kaleswaram were taken by KCR to the PC Ghose Commission. She added that her anger was only over the Kaleswaram issue.
Kavitha also discussed the possibility of starting a new party. The former MLC said she is still undecided about launching one. She explained that KCR consulted hundreds of people before starting a party, and she is following a similar approach.
She said she is the only daughter ever suspended from her father’s party. Kavitha also clarified her position regarding Congress. She mentioned that no senior Congress leaders have approached her, and she has not approached them either.
Kavitha questioned why Revanth Reddy frequently comments about her. She sarcastically suggested that he might be leaving Congress soon. She emphasised that her work will focus on the welfare of the entire state of Telangana, not just a specific section.
The BC issue, she said, deeply moved her. Kavitha told the media that she feels like a free bird now and that her doors are open to all. She mentioned that many leaders are meeting her, and the list of BRS leaders visiting her is very long.
